The Indiana legislature has passed many new laws that went into effect on July 1st. As an example, title insurance companies may no longer accept cashier’s or certified checks at closings. The Good Funds Act, Indiana Code 27-7-3.7 et seq., requires a purchaser to pay by wire transfer. If you would like to learn more about this and other changes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
